To The Future

To The Future
“I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul.”  What this means is that you devise your whole life, whether it be planned or not planned.  Your future is comprised of every individual day accumulated over the years.  Either you make plans out of life and create your future, or life itself will make plans out of you and shape your future.   Only you can decide to do the hard work that planning and goal reaching requires of you, to enable a future that you want and to accomplish the very dreams you want to achieve.  Planning is the first step in the right direction, for example, when you need to go grocery shopping you write, create a plan, a list on what you need to buy in order to:  1) not to spend money on other things, or 2) not to forget the things you do need to buy.  This is a simple form of planning but it does bring out two positive facets: 1) being proactive not too spend more than what is needed and 2) being accountable by buying everything that is needed. With this concept of a planning, expanded to most prominent aspects of life (i.e. education, career, family), one can sketch their life line by line and develop a genius work of art.
