Attitude

Everyone has heard of the saying, "mind over matter."  When the right attitude is applied to something that wants to be accomplished, no matter what it is, it can be accomplished.  The mind is a powerful thing, and willing it to think positive rather than dwelling on the negatives is essential to accomplishing long term goals or even completing daily duties. In addition, however stressful or dreadful a situation may be, the best thing a person can have is optimism.   People must come to realize that having a positive attitude will attract more positivity than negativity, which only urges them to think more positive.  For example, if you are respectful to some person they will most likely treat you the same.  On the other hand, if you are disrespectful to someone they will most likely be the same to you.  Thus confirming that the type of attitude you project into situations, that situation will give back the same type of attitude.   I once heard that there are only two things a person can do: the first is how to act; the second is how to re-act.  Those are the only two things a person can do, and how a person acts or re-acts all depends upon their attitude.
